
In honor of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck is holding its 26th annual Perinatal Loss Service of Remembrance on Saturday, October 12 at 10 am.
Due to inclement weather this years’ service will be held in the CHI St. Alexius Solarium.
The Solarium is located inside the south entrance of the hospital right off the main lobby.
This memorial service is open to all families who have suffered the loss of a baby during pregnancy, stillbirth or neonatal death. The service includes a blessing and committal. Burial is courtesy of Eastgate Funeral Services. National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death which includes but is not limited to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or the death of a newborn. It is observed annually in the United States on October 15.
