CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck’s Transitional Care Unit received a five-star quality rating in all categories from Nursing Home Compare, certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Nursing homes vary in the quality of care and services they provide to their residents. Data gathered by CMS provides families important ways to measure the quality of nursing homes. The CMS categories rate overall quality, health inspection, staffing and quality measures on a scale of one to five stars. A five-star rating indicates quality that is “much above average.”
“CHI St. Alexius Health is committed to providing quality care and maintaining the highest standards.” said CHI St. Alexius Health’s President Kurt Schley. “This rating system was created to help consumers, their families and caregivers navigate complex choices about where their loved one will receive the best quality care.”
The CHI St. Alexius Health Transitional Care Unit consistently achieves an overall five-star rating year after year.
“Achieving consistency in the quality of care we provide requires a dedicated effort by our providers and associates which translates into excellent patient outcomes,” said Clinical Supervisor, Janelle Marotzke.
