Santa is spreading some holiday cheer with children at CHI St. Alexius Health. The Fraternal Order of Police in Bismarck brought Santa to visit families staying in the hospital for Christmas. They've done this for 19 years and say it is a great way to give back to the community.
"Nothing is worse than being stuck in the hospital over Christmas, especially if you are a kid. For the NICU parents and this is their first Christmas, they are dealing with a lot. So, we just bring them a little something to remember this time and show them that we care," said John Brocker, North Dakota Fraternal Order of Police.
Santa handed out gifts and took pictures with families.
