CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck Auxiliary presented the Medical Center with a $25,000 donation during the Auxiliary’s annual business meeting. The Auxiliary is comprised of 67 members, who host several fundraisers a year and volunteer their time to run the hospital’s Gift Shop.
“The Auxiliary members work tirelessly year-round to help patients and visitors at CHI St. Alexius Health,” said Kilee Harmon, Development Director. “Each member generously adds her time and talents, and this donation is an incredible testament to the Auxiliary’s dedication to supporting our healing ministry.”
In 2018, some items purchased through funds donated by the Auxiliary include a Megacode Kelly manikin, Body Coil, Power Treatment Table for Vein Service, Code Blue Newborn manikin, and new wheel chairs.
“CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck Auxiliary members believe in the organization’s commitment to providing cutting edge, high quality health care to the residents of our region,” stated Becky Schatz, Bismarck Auxiliary President. “Our fund raising efforts have enabled us to provide new equipment and technology that advance the region’s health care; and our volunteers enjoy donating thousands of hours making our patients’ stay more pleasant.”
CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck Auxiliary is inviting prospective members to become part of the organization. Each individual can be as involved as time and interests allow.
