The Right Treatment For Your Heart

CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck has received the American Heart Association (AHA) 2019 Mission: Lifeline recognition with Get with the Guidelines ® Coronary Artery Disease Mission:Lifeline NSTEMI Gold, and STEMI Silver awards. Hospitals earn these awards by meeting specific criteria and standards of performance for the quick and appropriate treatment of heart attack patients by providing emergency procedures to re-establish blood flow to blocked arteries when needed.

“CHI St. Alexius Health is dedicated to providing the best care for heart attack patients,” said Dr. Boban Mathew. “We are pleased to be recognized for our dedication and achievements in cardiac care through Mission: Lifeline.”

The American Heart Association’s Mission:Lifeline program’s goal is to reduce system barriers to prompt treatment of heart attacks, beginning with the 9-1-1 call, to EMS transport and continuing through hospital treatment and discharge following protocols from the most evidence-based treatment guidelines.

“Providing quality care to our patients is our number one priority,” said Jordan Weisenberger, Director of Quality at CHI St. Alexius Health. “We are proud to be among the hospitals recently recognized by the American Heart Association for our excellence in implementing the Get With The Guidelines ® program.”
