The Bismarck Larks players and coaches know what it takes to maintain a healthy lifestyle on and off the field. Today, they teamed up with CHI St. Alexius Health to share their knowledge with families, and to have a little fun too. Today's family fun day with the Larks featured more than 15 health booths where families could learn about nutrition, and even how to spot signs of illness.
The idea is to help families learn how to stay healthy, and develop good habits.
"Your health is where it all starts, you know, and a lot of times there's little things that you can be preventative for health. So again it's a lot of things that I think if we all know and we're more aware of, we can be safer, healthier and live a happier life," said John Bollinger, Bismarck Larks General Manager.
More than 2,000 people attended the event.
