The COVID-19 Incident Command Team was presented The Sr. Boniface Timmins Leadership Award for their proactive and meticulous planning and implementation of strategies designed to provide the optimum care for patients and safest environment for those caring for them. The day by day plans (sometimes minute by minute adjustments) directed by this team assured safe care for our patients and visitors and protective care for our staff - changes that are now a part of our daily lives.
The Sr. Boniface Timmins Award was designed to recognize leaders who emulate a leader’s qualities of servant leadership. (Sr. Boniface served as president/administrator of St. Alexius from 1892 to 1906 and again from 1909 to 1917.) Her collaborative leadership led St. Alexius from its humble beginnings in a 16 room hotel to the 4 star, multi department hospital we are today.
Members of the team represent the critical areas of the hospital: Dr. Laura Archuleta, Jay Bauer, Dr. J’Patrick Fahn, Stephanie Goroski, Ellen Holt, Kay Johnson, Chelsey Kralicek, Raumi Kudrna, Dr. Lisa Laurent, Kari Lutz, Jen Miller, Adam Roper, Nikki Schauer, Kurt Schley, Jane Schmaltz, Tess Schmidt, Lynette Sherman, Jordan Weisenberger, Missy Wetsch, and Sue Ziemann.
