CHI St. Alexius Health has hired Michelle Walker as the new Development Director. Michelle’s role as Development Director will be to plan, direct, implement and evaluate all operations of CHI St. Alexius Health’s Foundation. This includes employee and annual giving campaigns, oversight of the Foundation Resource Cabinet, collaborating with donors, and more.
Michelle brings to CHI St. Alexius 20+ years of background in healthcare, management, and fundraising. She has a demonstrated ability to develop relationships with community members and has extensive experience in all areas of philanthropic giving. Michelle has been very involved in the community and currently is a member of the Bismarck Optimist Club and a member of the Leadership Bismarck Mandan Alumni Association.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from North Dakota State University. In her most recent role as Associate Development Director at the Anne Carlsen Center, Michelle implemented fundraising events and strategies, cultivated relationships, and participated in a capital campaign raising millions of dollars.
