Cancer Survivorship Workshops

More people are surviving cancer than ever before, but it can still impact many aspects of someone’s life. CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck is hosting a variety of hands-on workshops to help cancer survivors and caretakers manage the different challenges cancer presents.

  • January 11, 2022 | Hair and Cosmetic Beauty Class
    Learn about headwear such as wigs, extensions, toppers, warmers and other accessories. Skincare tips for dry and irritated skin.
  • February 16, 2022 | Yoga & Stress Relief
    Intro to yoga and other stress-relieving exercises in an interactive session.
  • March 22, 2022 | Cooking Class
    Learn about high protein foods and get tips/tricks for dealing with cancer related sores, aversions to smells, and more. Ingredients provided for an interactive experience. 
  • April 19, 2022 | Palliative Care
    Palliative care is a lot more than comfort care at the end of life. Learn how it can help patients who are dealing with serious illnesses at any stage.
  • May 17, 2022 | Building Strength in the Midst of Struggle
    Learn tips to foster resilience, emotional health and well-being.
  • June 14, 2022 | Skin with a Shine
    The importance of using SPF and the benefits of organic products.
