Enderle Named President of CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson

DICKINSON, ND - Carol Enderle, RN, DNP, MBA, MSN, has been appointed to serve as president of CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson. Carol brings to the hospital more than 30 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry.

Carol’s progressive career includes having served in leadership roles as the vice president of patient care services and COO/CNO for SCL Health - Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City, Montana. She also worked as the director of clinical services and program development for Adventist Health - Castle Medical Center in Kailua, Hawaii. Carol's prior clinical experience working as a nurse practitioner and as a registered nurse is the foundation for her leadership and her commitment to providing superior care with quality outcomes to patients by creating the best workplace environment for caregivers, physicians, and the community.

Carol's career accomplishments include achieving Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics and The Chartis Center for Rural Health; integrating a regional management structure as part of a broader network in healthcare delivery; implementing a system-wide shared governance model for nursing; and orchestrating the achievement of the 2020 Best Place to Work award for small hospitals in the state of Montana.

Carol earned her MBA from the University of Saint Mary, Kansas; her DNP from the University of Colorado - Denver, Colorado; her MSN degree from Gonzaga University, Washington; and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Montana State University-Northern, in Montana. She is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.
