The CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison Skilled Nursing Facility is a 28-bed skilled care unit located on the third floor of the hospital with secured entry. It provides a homelike atmosphere for people who are no longer able to live independently. Both private and semi-private rooms are offered.
Residents are able to enjoy outdoor time on the rooftop deck, as well as a wide variety of weekly activities offered, including religious services. Continental breakfast, noon, and evening meals with menu choices, and afternoon and evening snacks are offered daily. Other services for our residents include laundry, housekeeping, restorative care, physical and occupational therapy, and dietary and pharmacy consultations.
Nursing care is provided 24 hours a day by RN's, LPN's, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Certified Medication Assistants. Physical Therapists and Restorative Care Aides make sure our residents receive the best care possible to ensure mobility and range of motion is maintained.
