Trailer Donation Warms Hearts at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston

A new trailer graciously donated by Nova Energy will make COVID-19 testing more comfortable this winter season for CHI St. Alexius Health employees and patients. “We are so thankful for this generous donation. Nova Energy is truly a good corporate neighbor for stepping forward in a very real way,” said Dan Bjerknes, CHI St. Alexius Health president.

“As we continue to navigate the challenges presented by COVID-19, this kind of donation gives our entire staff and the community a boost because it shows that the business community cares and is willing to help.” CHI St. Alexius Health has already begun to use the trailer as the cold weather has arrived in our region. The trailer will be used throughout the winter months so staff do not have to stand outside in the cold and snow for car-side swabs.

Say Ahhh! Pediatric Clinic Open House in Williston Oh baby.

Growing into a healthy, happy adult is a big job. That’s why parents appreciate having a trusted pediatrician and a comfortable, friendly clinic that’s with them, every step of the way. CHI St. Alexius Health is excited to share with the community our new Pediatric Clinic during an Open House on Friday, October 29th, from 2:30 to 5 pm, in the Craven-Hagan building at 1213 15th Avenue West.

Visitors will see why we’re calling it child-inspired and parent-approved. There’s a dedicated check-in area, a playroom and two separate waiting rooms -- one for sick children needing medical care and one for well kids needing checkups and shots. Families can also meet the region’s only pediatricians, Pirthvi Raj Giyanwani, MD, and Menelik Mulu, MD.

CHI St. Alexius Installs Little Free Pantries

CHI St. Alexius Bismarck held a blessing and dedication of two Little Free Pantries that were installed on the hospital campus. Little Free Pantries (LFP) are located in various locations throughout Bismarck, Mandan, and Lincoln. They offer an opportunity for neighbors helping neighbors, and are most often for those who are not easily able to meet everyday food and personal needs. Items are free to take and may include canned food, proteins, personal care items, paper goods, and kid-friendly items like school supplies and more.
