Emergency Department Expansion
Our main surgery rooms have undergone a massive renovation for more than two years. All surgical services will move from the Same Day Surgery building to the renovated hospital suites before year end 2023. The current Emergency Department will be relocated to the vacated first floor of Same Day Surgery when all surgical services move to the renovated hospital suites. This will give us 20 patient care areas, many being private rooms with doors, and triple the waiting room space. This project is estimated to be completely by July 2024.
Revival of Mental Health Wing
Our old Mental Health Wing closed over a decade ago and has been vacant ever since. Thanks to a grant from the State Legislature, we are able to begin the process to renovate and reopen this space, bringing in and out patient Mental Health back to Williston! The estimated cost for this project is $3.7m and we hope to complete this project in late 2024, to early 2025.
Revival of Inpatient Rooms
We will renovate our old OB wing and old Swing Bed wing to combine them into a wonderful new Med/Surg unit with modern patient rooms (including full bathrooms).
If you are interested in supporting these projects, please reach out to our Foundation team, they are happy to share the available giving levels and speak with you in more depth about these amazing projects for our community at YOUR local hospital!

Suite Sponsors
The sponsors listed below have pledged $35,000 to our Expansion and Revival Project. Their names will be displayed outside a renovated room of their choosing in either the expanded Emergency Department, renovated Mental Health Wing, or renovated Inpatient Wing for the lifetime of the room.
We cannot thank these supporters enough for helping us continue to improve our facility to better care for the community of Williston for the years and generations to come.
