WILLISTON, N.D. – CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Foundation is honored to present Cyndy Aafedt with a plaque of appreciation for her 9 years of service on the Foundation Board of Directors.
Cyndy served on the board from May 2012 through June 2021, and also served as board chair in 2019. In addition to serving on the Foundation Board of Directors, Cyndy has served on the Charity Ball committee for the past several years. This event continues to raise money for the hospital making it possible for us to purchase state-of-the art equipment in our hospital and clinics. She has also donated of her time and resources to support other events/activities hosted by CHI St. Alexius Health
"CHI has always been an organization close to my heart and it has been my honor and privilege to serve on the Board of Directors for the Foundation,” Aafedt says. “I look forward to continuing to support the hospital in their mission of caring for our community members and providing the best possible healthcare.”
For Cyndy, community has always been the foundation of life. In fact, in 2021, Cyndy was honored as the 2021 Citizen of the Year by the Williston Herald. Cyndy will continue to serve on the CHI St. Alexius Health outreach and engagement committees to support the 100+ year ministry of CHI St. Alexius Health
