New Years Baby Blessing

The first baby of the New Year was born at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Medical Center at 9:49 a.m. January 1, 2023.

Gabi Wigness and James Goga from Crosby, ND rang in the New Year by welcoming their daughter Charlotte Elizabeth Goga into the world. Charlotte weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Charlotte is the couple's first child and they are so very excited.

“Everything went great, the labor was a little longer than I would have liked but that is to be expected with a first child” said Gabi. “The whole experience was just great, what a great way to start 2023!”

A gift basket filled with baby essentials was presented to the family. The items were donated by Upper Missouri District Health Unit and CHI St. Alexius Health. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston delivered 677 babies in 2022.
