CHI St. Alexius Health is dedicated to helping mothers prepare for and experience the delivery of their new baby. Trained teams of providers assist women through labor and delivery when their baby is ready to arrive. The staff is experienced and committed to the health and comfort of both mothers and babies in their care.

Techniques For New Parents

Our obstetrics team teaches new parents newborn care techniques during the hospital stay, offering a caring, family-focused program with one-on-one instruction. Check for specific information on labor and delivery in Bismarck, Devils Lake, Dickinson or Williston.

Education is available to expecting mothers in the months and weeks before a baby arrives - including breastfeeding classes, infant car-seat classes, and childbirth and Lamaze classes with tours of the obstetrics department.
