Hands holding a red heart

Williston Foundation

Mercy Medical Foundation was formed in 1983 as a separate 501c3.  In April 2016, the Mercy Medical Foundation became "CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Foundation".  Our foundation remains an independent, local entity which raises funds for direct needs at our Williston location.  The mission of the Foundation is to support programs and projects related to health care of the hospital. The ultimate recipient of a gift could be a member of your family, a close friend, or a neighbor receiving care at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston.  Consider the Foundation in memory of a loved one or in your estate planning to impact today and in the future!  Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible and can provide considerable tax advantages.

The Foundation Team works under the management of a Board of Directors comprised of community leaders and area residents, along with Hospital leadership, who meet to set a program of work to accomplish the goal of fundraising for hospital needs, building the endowment fund, and carrying out projects essential to growth and development.

Events and Campaigns

Williston has grown, and our health care needs have too. Our Emergency Room, built for a much smaller community, is now critically outdated and undersized, compromising patient privacy and safety. We have launched a vital campaign to transform our Outpatient Surgery Center into a state-of-the-art ER, significantly expanding our capacity and improving care for everyone. Your support is crucial to making this "perfect new home" for our ER a reality.

Ready to make an impact? Join us in ensuring top-tier emergency care is available right here, when it's needed most.

Join us for our 4th Annual 5K Fun Run

The 5th Annual 5K Run/ 1 Mile Walk/1 Mile Kids Fun Run presented by CHI St Alexius Health Williston Diabetes Education will celebrate people living with diabetes along with raising funds to assist families in our community impacted by the financial cost of living with diabetes. The Sugar Bust Diabetes Run is an event for everyone, whether you’re a competitive runner or want to enjoy a walk or a jog around Spring Lake Park. Funds raised from this event will go to our Diabetes Education fund and stay local in Williston!

In Williston, our community's well-being is at the heart of everything we do. When facing a cancer diagnosis, the comfort of home, the unwavering support of family and friends, and the familiar faces of trusted local medical professionals mean everything. That's why we're committed to providing comprehensive, cutting-edge cancer treatment right here, in your community.

However, to truly deliver the advanced care our neighbors deserve, our Oncology Department urgently needs state-of-the-art technology. Your support can help us bring this vital equipment to Williston, ensuring no one has to travel far for the best possible cancer care.
